Hi everybody i am new with marine been doing the tap water tanks for awhile now and just got bored of it so wanted a new challenge i bought a 125L tank from another masa member it doesn't have a sump got a built in filter which i think im going to the change all the sponges to pieces of live rock, and i added a reef octopus BH-1000 HOB skimmer rated at 400L so its a bit of an over kill. so feel free to give me any advice, i think i might need alot of it to succeed and make this an awsm little nano.

i have got one Seio m560 is this enough for my flow should i add another power head? and where should i direct my powerheads to get best flow and no dead spots?

i have about 18kg of live rock in at the moment

    my live stock is
2x clowns but removing one tomorrow due to fitting
    1x sixline wrasse
    1x lawnmower blenny
    3x orange legged hermits

2 little frags of blue pulsing xenia
and 1 little mushroom on a rock

i also run a small bag of of purigen in my built in filter.

thanks any advice would be much appreciated:)[IMG]

Good start, how long has it been running? Thats a decent skimmer and perfect for your setup. With regards to flow, you could add another one on the other side. Those Seio's are more effective if you take the covers off.

the system was running at the previous owners place for about six months when i bought it i took all the substrate and rocks and water aswell and when i setup at my place i did a 25L water change and i thinks its been running 2 week now at my place, i also thought to add a extra powerhead but not sure where these guys should point to work best

Direct them so the flow crosses paths, creates nice random, turbulent flow. (keep the one where it is)
