better pay + commission, better hours and more time to surf with an incentive if i ride my boards with a PG glass logo on them (a sponsorship of sorts, did it for heinekin for about 2 years and recieved a case of beers a month and they pd entrance fees for contests still negotiating my deal with PG).

i have been under extreem stress lately due to working hectic hours.... some days starting at 4am and finishing at 19h00 sometimes 7 days a week!!!! the overtime is good but not worth missing my boy grow up...

i will be handing im my resignation tomorrow. i will be trying to organise a discount structure on glass for reefers and see what other specialist glasses are available but never surface out of the books due to us not knowing to ask about them...

just thought id let you know.....

Good luck Les.

No one's work time is more valuable than the time spent with family! Go for it.

sure your boss will be happy to see you go. ha ha jokes good luck have you still got beers in your fridge...........

Hey Les, thats awesome dude!!!
Can't go wrong with more money and less working hours!!!
And glass discounts is always a bonus
Nice 1 my friend.. hope the little 1 is doing well

ok so my current employer doesnt want me to go and has come up with a fantastic package which really made me think hard about staying but... he couldent gaurantee any better hours!!!!

decisions decisions...

i was quite blunt with him and stated that the other 3 guys i work with (him being one of them) were all suffering from an ailment due to the pressure the work is exherting on them and that i dident want that happening to me...

he was appreciative of the perception i took at looking at this situation..... but still wanted me to stay!!! so i asked for 24 hours to make up my mind!!!

i have come to the conclusion that it will be better i the long run to work at PG as its a more pleasant enviroment and with people who are more human than machines!!!

decision made IM GOING!!!

I think you have made the right choice, life is short enough as it is, no good shortening your life even more with huge amounts of stress and risk of heart attacks, how would your little child feel if their daddy died so young because he worked too hard and his job killed him.

Leslie, good decision.

If you search a bit you will find more than one study has proven that it's better not to accept counter offers. Wide range of reasons, but mostly your employee won't trust you anymore and whatever consequences that brings. So good call I think.

Well done Les. So whats the prices for a new 5.0m L shaped tank?
