    Moolis,
Your thread states 100% Captive bred Seahorses!
I was interested in buying a pair of the advertised Seahorses from you, but know I'm in doubt whether these are really CAPTIVE BRED SEAHORSES. It seems, according to the guys that breed these seahorses in SA, it could be devestating to my other tank inhabitants (my refugium where I would want to keep them is linked to my main DT) if theyre not.

I would appreciate it if you could enlighten me whether or not they are "real" captive bred seahorses before I make my decision.

Facts speak for themselves. I would not make statements I am not convinced I can back up.

They are 100% CB and NOT pen bred!

Pen bred is regularly available at 40 to 50% lower prices. Those we sell as wild, because that is what they are for me, if you take feeding, health and diseases into consideration.

    Ok here is my 2c.

The importing of wild cought and pen breed sea horses is a thing of the past. You cannot get permits to import them anymore.

To get a CITES permit to import sea horses they have to be captive breed and you have to prove it. You also need a health certificate. So if Moolis is getting in sea horses and has the correct paperwork then they are definitely captive breed.

    Hi Guys

I need to give a final count of seahorses we are going to import on this SITES permit, so a deadline will have to be set for 2012-03-08 12H00 any order not paid by then will have to wait for the next opportunity much later in the year. Once I fill a number in on the permit I CAN NOT CHANGE IT!

We are only landing 8 for the shop so if you bargain on rather buying them out of my aquariums you will have to be early and pay 30% more than the advertised pre-order prices, no exceptions.

So this is the final call

Those of you that did book and pay - you should have received and email / PM from me today. If not, your booking is not fixed and confirmed. So please follow it up!!!!
