Anybody know of a good canopy builder in cape town ? Was thinking of going the diy option but with the plywood at R650 and then still the paint ect, would rather pay someone that actually knows what they are doing (My wood skills suck:m85:)

Isn't perspex super expensive though? Would it also not warp?

Cheaper than marine ply and does not warp. can cover it with vinyl to match a colour or buy it in the colour sheet you want

Maizeys Plastic has all sizes, colours, transparency, etc you could ever need. They have a branch in Paarden Eiland and one in Stikland. They also cut to size.

5mm, they had 3mm at R900mm ex vat but I'm not sure if thats thick enough as i have a sheet of 1mm and its super flimsy. Then there is the fact that my diy skills suck :m85:

5mm is really thick, you could prob get away with 3mm. If diy isnt your thing, maybe perspex isnt the way to go.
