    Both options will work.
And, True Perc and False Perc are both in the Percula complex so they will pair up easily; In other words a true perc will pair with a false perc regular clown - preferably a juvenile.

Yes, I did it, Early last year my male clownfish died and I decided to replace it. I just made sure the clownfish I bought was almost the same size as my existing clownfish, they were almost the same to an extent that I couldn't differentiate the old one from the new one after 5 minutes of introducing the new clownfish. Goodluck

agree with jclass, although to be safe make sure the new one is smaller than your existing female, this will mean that your female will remain dominant and will prevent any friction between the two

it shouldnt be an issue, once the smaller one takes up its position as subordinate male, the female wont be concerned and they should (in theory) host together
