    Hi.
My tank is really loud. Should I put in more bioballs to reduce sound?
Can I put a lid on it (marine wood) with rubber on edges to reduce sound? My worry here is after my forst day I had to put 4ltr's of water back in through condensation. Is this going to cause trouble if I put a heavy lid on it? Perhaps I should put vents in the lid?

try and remove all bioballs as they are a nitrate factory.
create a Durso stand pipe, this will help in noise reduction.
you can add a canopy to your tank but make sure theres adequate ventalation and perhaps add in some pc fans to extract the heat which you lights will cause

agree with mekaeel - the problem should be solved with a durso. if you are putting a lid, watch the temp build up.

Hello and a very warm welcome to MASA Brendan. If you have not done so already, please create a new thread telling us more about yourself, your tank, hard-ware and life-stock?
    Many thanks.

What part of your tank is loud? The overflow on the display tank?
