Can i get an Anemone

    Hi All, my tank has now been running for more then a year, all liverock and most livestock were moved over from my previous tank which was about 8 months old.
    the tank is 1800x600x400 high lighting is via 2x250 watt 20,000K metal halides.

    What other LS do you have? Fish, corals & inverts,

    It sound good, but is your flow pumps nennie safe? Can you post the actuall accurate water parameters?
    What other livestock you got in the tank?

    other livestock, are 2 clowns, a sailfin tang, a yellow tang, a foxface, 2 cleaner shrimps a couple of blue leg hemmits and a lawnmower bleeny. corals pin cusion, star polps, hammer coral, brain coral, bubble coral, some green shrooms, and some zoas. lost my SPS and clam due to power failure :(. water parameters
    nitrate - 0, po4 - 0.05, ca 420-440, kh bit low 6, temp at 27

    pump side my biggest concern is my polario, but i will cover the intakes, and i will reduce the number of pumps i have now as i wont be keeping SPS

    oh yes and salinity 1.026 :)

    If you and your tank are stable I don't see why not. I think post a full tank pic so the Gurus can have a look see. They will ask for all your water stats.

    Just remember the secret is to buy an Anemone that is Healthy. Up here on the reef 9 out of 10 Anemone for sale are half dead.

    thanks man, will have to take a pic, the only parameter that changes a bit is the KH need to get some buffer, currently use epsom salts

    dKH = Bicarb not epson salt. dKH is a measurement for Alkalinity and you use bicarb to raise it. And that is normal for the alkalinity to change.

    The only concerns I have is the alkalinity and the pumps. Get those taken care of and you are good to go!
