Been running RO unit for 30hours now and DT is nearly half full.....was wondering if i could start to add salt now as one circ. pump is covered and already running and then adjust salinity as the tank and sump fill up .Estimate another 2 days before all is filled.....or should i rather wait until everything is filled the add salt....would there be any difference...(damn RO unit is sooooo sloooow..:(:yeahdude:

i would only add salt once its full and running and you happy no leaks etc
will save salt if an issue arises

    nothing good happens fast.
so you can wait another 2 days. get a beer, slow, relax. Fill it up, re-check for leaks as @dallasg mentioned. Why be in a hurry to save 2 days?

I got a leak. damn. between my refugium and sump. Really slow, like in max 200ml a day. In a place where I can not reach. Full days work to fix. Just a bit of silicone. Bliksem, I cannot reach.
