Calculating DSB size for specific tank?

Hi Guys/Gals..

I need some help on calculating the size of my new DSB...Does the size of the DSB matter????

I have a 1200mm X 600mm Wide X 700mm High main tank...What size DSB will I need for this tank?

Are there any calculations for this?

The bigger the better, as big as possible.

Ridwaan, i dont think there is an E = MC 2 route for a DSB,
You would have to assume that some DSB's are more effective than others, and what bio load will you have, coupled to which skimmer, how much live rock will you have and how effective will that be?

What I am getting at is that there are too many variables to calculate.

Thus do what Alan says, bigger is better. work out what is the biggest possible size you can put in then make it 20% bigger.
