calcium manual dosing

    I would like to find out about manual dosing with calcium can one over dose and what can be the effect off over dosing

    Yes one can overdose by dosing calcium manually. Before dosing, invest in a good quality test kit to make sure Ca is in the recommended range, then adjust if necessary. Also remember, Ca and Alk need to be dosed together. Dosing just Ca, will drop Alk.
    One of the signs of over dosing will be milky water.

    There are some nice threads about dosing for Ca, Alk and Mg as well as their reactions with each other etc.
    use the search engine at the top and you'll find quite a few.
