Was just wondering, with the options available for the cornerstone "elements," how does the majority of reefers dose? Mods please help lay this out.

I think I have most options included...

I have been running kalk in my atu and dosed Alk, Mg and Ca. I have managed to get hold of a corx so soon I will be running it in conjunction with kalk and the odd Mg dose. With the ever increasing cost of additives I feel that long term the corx will be cheaper. I have seen the advantage of a working corx at a fellow reefer and its as clear as day that its far more beneficial to have stable parameters.

A few bits of high Mg calcite (dolomite) in the reactor will help with keeping amg stable.
Remember, depending on media used, a reactor adds exactly what corals took up in their skeletal process, ie Ca, alk, Mg, Sr, and some trace elements, so adding extra Mg only needed as used in cellular and organic matrix.

I use Brightwell Kalk +2, so does Sr & Mg aswell, dont have massive amounts of sps so it keeps my parameters stable
