    How do i measure the effluent coming out of my carx is optimal?

    Good question... Please elaborate a bit more, or clarify the question.
    As we are dealing with balanced Ca and CO3 addition and consumption (well almost), the easiest way is to measure alk of effluent and flow rate. It really depends on a few matters, but tank consumption being the most important.
    You want a dkh of around 30dkh or more, and then adjust the drip rate, and CO2 input to keep the alk of effluent the same.
    A good on line calculator is paramount.
