Buying from Boostled.com

    Hey all,

    Has anyone who's purchased from Boostled.com had any issues with their purchases?

    I purchased a Typhon Controller with 4 Meanwell Drivers for $228.99 incl. shipping. So the 4x drivers @ $120... $54 for Shipping and Handling which leaves $54.99 for the Controller, which is right.

    The good news is I received the drivers. The bad news is that I didn't receive the controller.

    I received the package on Sat. and have sent them 3 emails since, requesting that they make a plan wrt the controller.

    I have yet to receive a single reply... and this is obviously making me very nervous being in SA and them being in the US. I know that it's only been 3 working days since I received the package.

    Any suggestions? Should I wait longer? I was thinking about writing up a post on ReefCentral - that might wake them up a bit.

    Give them a day or two, its in their best interest to make sure that you get what you paid for, they are propably trying to figure out what went wrong before they reply

    Okay, I'll hang in there a little bit longer.. just hate having all my LEDs with my drivers sitting there.

    Just getting antsy, I suppose.

    I guess all @erratiCC is just after an acknowledgment email to say they looking into the problem, so I don't blame him for getting irate by now.

    are these products any good..? how do they compare with the current led's being used?

    Update here,

    I just received a reply from Brian @ Boostled.

    His mail as follows:

    "Hi Grant,
    We assure you that the controller was included in the package. Please file a claim with your local postal, once we received the case from usps we will file on our behalf and will send you another one once the case is completed. Sorry for the delay.

    Brian"

    Has this happened to anyone else before? Approximately, how long does it take from once the case is opened to completion? Anything I should do to help my case?

    I've still got the packaging and plan to take photos to possibly help, I suppose it can't hurt.
