Bubble on regal tang`s eye

Hi guys

yesterday I saw a white spot above my regal tang`s one eye, thought it is white spot, but today when I arrived at home I saw it has a bubble like over that eye or the eye that poped out. It is difficult to see because he keeps on hiding. does any one one know what it could be?

Don't worry Paul. This does happen sometimes. Fish - especially regal tangs, sometimes hurt themselves (not too badly though) against the rock work.... this will take about a week to 10 days to clear up.... just ensure that the fish keeps on eating.

My regal is always hurting himself. I think the only way to tell if its something bad is if appetite is lost. These guys seem to have a constant case of the munchies

It's happened to a few of my anthias. IT will go down after a few days. Like the guys said regals are rather clumsy fish always hurting themselves

Clumsy fish they are. I would not worry at all as long as he is eating. Mine swims into my stag horn and hurts himself , he does it so hard pieces break off ... I get frags to grow and he looks abused....

The same thing happend to my Regal recently and it took about a week to heal. Dont worry he'll be fine

same happened to me, shouldnt worry about it, maybe if you can turn your lights down for a while will help to bring the stress level down
