They are awesome for the price.
But there are a few others coming to SA soon that will be very cost effective as well.

mmmm............yip they are cheaper and are a good brand...........
i myself have a very cheap 3 channel dosing pump with controller available for R 2500

however rememeber when it comes to back up service with regard to all components of dosing pumps, electronics and telephonic support.......importers of the profilux cannot be matched.

so yeah.....more expensive but definatly the way to go..............
before i sell our cheepie units i tell my clients to seriously consider the pros and cons and take a good look at the profilux.

not sure on the bubble magnus back up, they have actually contacted us and we are busy with pricing etc etc...........

but personally if i was buying right now..........i would go with the profilux...........

give me a shout if you like and i will see what deal i can get you on one

I honestly have no use for a dosing pump...

I dose prodibio once every 2 weeks, and iodine when i feel like it, maybe once/twice a week.

I find that the red sea pro coral salt has more than enough of what I need. All my inverts' have molted. Whenever a new addition joins the tank they molt within a week or two.

Kalk I'll dose manually until I buy carx. I don't like the idea of running kalk through that tiny dosing pump.

What I'm trying to say is that there are son many "all in one" products out there these days we don't really need a system with 5 bottles attached to it.

Thats because you dont have many SPS corals that are growing well. Once you have those its a completely different game my good man, Try dosing 200ml Alk and 200ml CA and 50ml MG every single day 365 and then say that you dont need a system with 5 bottles attached to it;)
