Hi, Over the past few weeks I've had to watch my green bubble coral fade away. Distressing, as I have always had success with this particular coral.
    Tank parameters are 1200 x 60 x 60, lights 6 x T5’s (2 actinic blue, 4 white). Water quality seems fine - (25oC, ph8.3) and I do a weekly 10% water change.

Oh, by the way, my other hard corals are flourishing, including a frag which I added some weeks ago.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

there is nothing more than guessing, but i would go with damage on the tissue or skeleton, which led to infection etc...

add some iodine, as directed for tank volume. Then i would feed the coral, mine likes peices of fish or prawn

Thanks guys. Suspect some damage, but will follow Nur's advice about the iodine. Where there's hope ....

    Hi Denrzn
Somehow it's still hanging in there, barely ... and touch wood, it seems like parts are regenerating!
Haven't dosed with any muti, but a supplement (I use Microbe-lift all-in-one) and rigorous 15% water changes on a weekly basis may be doing the trick.
These buggers seem to be quite tough. I was given a near-dead piece once, just left it alone and it completely recovered.
    Good luck!

Thx, I've added some special blend cause my ammonia was 0,25 and I was using Red Sea abc which increase my calcium to over 500 so I so I stopped that and just waiting to see what happens.

    I'm also feeding directly

Hope this works, I really love the bubble
