I have my bubble for a few months now and has been opening full ever since but since about two weeks ago it has bleached and is not opening fully. First half of the coral bleached and recently the other half as well. I did accidentally suck up and pop a bubble about 3 weeks back when siphoning out cyano. Could it be this that caused it to bleach and not open properly.

Sorry dont have parameters to give, will only be able to have it tested tomorrow.

    Will upload a pic now.

bubble corals are quiet delicate, and the popping of the bubble could have caused some stress and infection, but without a pic i dont want to suggest anything yet

is this a cat-eye bubble coral?

Pics are not that great because of the reflection of the light.

yes it is, i did give it a iodine dip right after i poped it.

Been trying to feed it every few days but dont think its eating and the fish steals its food.

from the pic doesnt look to good, my suggestion is to place it in a low flow, shaded area of the tank and see if it opens, if that doesnt work, then i suggest an iodine dip to dis-infect.

sorry posted after you, try moving to a low flow area and placing a "net" to stop fish etc from bothering it

I did move it to spot with less flow and noticed that when all the lights are not on it opens a little more. Will move it to a shaded area. Thanks

So I moved the bubble under a ledge yesterday but flow was a bit more than before and my arrow crab also sleeps there so it wasn't happy. Then I moved it to another spot today and saw that it has a tear or two in it.:( Will give it a iodine dip tomorrow, will this help?
