    Hi Scott,
Please could you do me a huge favour.
I am looking to compare the difference in height between the internal and external bubble blaster 5000 cone skimmers. Would it be possible for you to measure these heights for me?
    Thanks

Hi Shane. It's 68cm but you'll need about another 2cm to get the cup off. They're great skimmers. It's the one we use on the show tank.

    Hi Scott,
I think I might have mis worded my question.
I was looking at just the height of the cone itself not the entire skimmer.
    Sorry to be a pain.
    Cheers

Sorry, I got it all wrong. I didn't read your question carefully. I gave you the total height for the normal Bubble Blaster external. I'll measure up the 2 cones for you (interal & external). Just the cone. Both are in stock.

    Internal (375cm cone)

    External (375mm cone)

So they're both the same. The External is about 15cm taller (total height) because of the bottom recirc box.

Even though the cones are the same height it looks like there would be a slightly longer contact time for the bubbles with the external recirc becase the bubble plate starts at the base of the cone whereas the internal starts a bit higher.
