Ok, I saw some little metalic looking round bubble algae on the back of a small mushroom rock. I pulled it out and went to try to scrape off the bubble algae and rinse the rock with tank water. One of them broke and squirted in my eyes! I had safety glasses with side shields on, but it still got me. (Guess I should have had diving goggles on.) Am going to have problems from getting that stuff in my eyes?

Well not 100% sure we talking about the same thing without photos but from your description I would say they are simiar if not the same thing that I tried to remove from my rock which my mushrooms are growing on.

I also managed to get some of their liquid into my face and a little in my eye. I experienced no pain or long term issues from that. I would not panic if I was you sir ;)

Happened to me 2 weeks ago. No effects. Other than a headache but I'm convinced that had more to do with empty bottle of whiskey I found in my kitchen the next morning

My eyes were a little red, but that's probably from frantically flushing them last night. :)
