Bta made a split

    So my one bta decided to split,dont know why,coz water prams are stable,but it looks good,nice coloration,and its feeding already. Here's sum pics(cellphone,sorry)

    How long has the nennie been in your tank? They sometimes split when stressed or the water parameters take a dive. However it may not only be because of that. Occasionally they self-frag as a method of continued survival(a piece of it will survive at least-type of scenario). The clone seems to be much smaller than the parent so I would say based on the pics etc its just a self-frag. Congrats:thumbup:

    BTW how far apart are those two pics timewise? With the position being different, does it mean its going walkies?

    Thanx,regarding the 2 pics,they are differnt nennies,forgot to mention. The first pic is the bta that made a split,and the second is the biggest,opens about the size of a large dinner plate,and the other is just a bit smaller(before the split). The nennies also stay put,they do not walk about ect.
