Hi Lanzo. Don't even know what that is, but when it comes to nuisance algae, the guys at Exotic (adam scott) really believes in increasing your KH value, as nuisance algae can not live in high KH. Is your KH not a bit low?

BTW... Exotic kills of their cyano within two weeks by increasing KH... If that helps...

Lanzo is your hair algae Definitely Bryopsis and not Derbesia.
Bryopsis proliferates in aquariums with Ammonia and Nitrite availability. So raising KH adding magnesium might help to some extent but the Bryopsis will continue to thrive. You must ensure that the ammonia and Nitrite availability is removed and then proceed with increasing KH and adding Rowa Phos.

If your hair algae is Derbesia, Then Raising KH and wet skimming will do the trick very quickly.

Post a pic of your hair algae and i will tell you which one you have.

Lanzo. Add some Seachem Stability or Prodibio to lower your nutrients.

Hi guys, and thanks for reading our write-up on Bryopsis. From my personal experience, this thing doesn't just go away from doing one thing. Its a process. You have to be patient. The steps actually do work. Follow them one at a time.

If you have any questions, I would be happy to answer them.
