Hi Everyone

Whats a good remedy for Brown Jelly Disease? My Frogspawn corals are taking a knock for some reason.

Jip. Frag the affected heads on do iodine dips on the rest. I would do dips over several days.

I've just successfully treated a Hammer coral affected by this.

I used Revive coral dip from Two Little Fishes (http://www.twolittlefishies.com/documents/1187368847.pdf) over a week period of dipping every evening for about 5 minutes and removing any brown jelly with an old tooth brush. I also used a 10ml syringe and blasted into the groves of the coral skeleton and sucked off any remaining tissue with the syringe.

Its been a week now and the coral is has recovered and survived the attack.

I agree with Nemeziz. Also remember not to let any of the jelly float off in your tank when removing the coral as it can infect other lps or reinfect your same coral.
