Ziyaad, i am with you on this..... I have watches lying in the safe for the past 15 years, received them as presents etc, yet i have never worn them as i do not like something around my wrists etc.....
And for the life of me i cannot see why someone would pay soooo much for a fashion statement....but hey, i am old fashioned, and even have to admit that this watch is really beautiful...... I am sure this watch will get scooped up fast... Where is @mytank, he loves stuff like this too, as far as i can recall

    awesome watch gman.......
i too have a soft spot for watches.....however i dont think of them as fashion statements.

i own over 20 watches, i even have my late grandfathers omega, my fathers omega, i own an omega planet ocean and bought a speedmaster (first watch on the moon) that i wore the day my son was born and i gave it to him....its sits and awaits the day he turns 18

good watches last forever.......you buy em once.....not cause they fashion statements...beacuse they engineering masterpieces.....

of course im talking automatic watches here.......not quartz....well you may aswell chuck quartz in the bin. no matter what make....one day a battery will leak and damage the watch...
automatic watches can go for ever if serviced every 10 + years or so.

i have all the classics except for a breitling.....i would have jumped on yours but my eye is on another breitling model that i hope to pick up next time im in a duty free.

goodluck with sale and ill mention it to a few friends of mine for you.

Awesome watch gMan. I would never be able to afford a Breitling - but I have my fair share of watches. I used to love big, diving, waterproof watches. I still wear my dive watches and dive computers, but, only to work. Never at home or on weekends. I have gotten tired of having something on my wrists.....

LOL no Ziyaad. I wish I was. But when you are an active SCUBA diver (I am a Rescue Diver), then you tend to "upgrade" your dive-computers/watches every so often... I think that this is really bad enough!
