Breeding Copepods

Hi guys

So I was thinking of getting a banded pipefish but read up about them needing live Copepods for food. Could anyone tell me how to start and maintain a culture? What methods are the best and affordable at the same time?

Just have lots of live rock for them to breed in. Those pipe fish very often slowly starve to death, so make sure your tank is large enough to provide food for one.

I was hoping to start a culture in like a separate tank/container for that exact reason. So that I could always have pods on hand for him

This video is cool. I will give it a try. I've added a fair amount of chaeto to my sump, i can now see the pods running around. It's in the same compartment as my return pump. I am sure pods end up in my DT. I also have a compartment with live rock. About 5kgs. Hoping thaylt also helps.
