Breeding Clownfish

Very good info Well done:thumbup:Ohhhh and :welcome7:masahello enjoy the forum

@abgg118 will it be advisable to connect a breeding tank onto my main display...knowing that the parameters will be correct all the time?

@ianP: No, the amount of rotifers (and later other foods) that you feed your growout tank is usually so large that it starts fouling up your main tank. Large regular water changes to the growout tank is better. Of course, you can source this from the main tank.

Just the breeding tank will be attached to the main display tank.I'll have a seperate grow out tank for the baby clown fish

Thanks for the advice!if I breed snowflake clowns, will all the babies be snowflake aswell?

I ordered a pair of snowflakes but they are still sub adults .so they need another 8-9 months until any spawning can happen

How long have u had your clowns?I don't know where they originated from
