    I got the Boyu intermittant switch and 2 pumps. Basically the same. Not sure exactly what is different on the controller. They do look slightly different.

    But on the intermittant switch, you can set the time each pump can run, short interval to long period. Then that pump switch off and the other one runs. Cheap switch that does the job.

    I got a double closed loop system with 2 Reeflow pumps at 13000L about. Each outlet gives me between 5000 and 6000L/h. So I got more than enough flow.

    I use the Boyu to create more random flow. One in each top back corner of tank. They are the only pumps inside my tank.

    Problem is still that I need to pull them out every second weekend to clean them.

    Also for tank turnover calculations, you can not add both pumps, as only one is on at any point in time.

    Do you have one pump already?
    Then just get another pump and intermittant switch seperatly.

    @slummies
    it runs the one pump for a set time and then the other one, alternating between the two pumps.

    the wm2 is a low voltage pump with controller where you can set the flow rate, on time and off time. it also has a feed button which stop the pump for 10min for feeding purpose.
