I am in the process of upgrading my lights of my Nano, what lights would suite and fit in the Nano for SPS and Clams. Would the 36Wx3 10K/20K PL JBJ Lights work?

Does the PL bulbs come duel 10K and 20K, the ones I have seen are usually 1 10K and 1 20K.

You could also use 36W Philips 6500K globes for PAR...

No. Excessive nutrients and incorrect parameters cause algae, not light.

Yes. There's always a trade off between viewing/colour and PAR.

Sorry to jump onto this so VERY late! Ive been told the Boyu's are useless for corals etc because of the lights as well as filtration/skimming. Am i correct in reading that its as simple as changing the bulbs to sort out the lights??? Also what about the filtration/skimming??? Im thinking this could be a nice cheap quarantine tank...

No they pretty ok with certain corals, have a look at my thread,You can see the corals I have are doing very good actually growing very well.It all depends on the type of corals you want to keep.I have standard lights.
