volume 2 goes for 1000-1500 new

I bought volume 3 for about R700 new so I think your estimate of 1000-1500 is a bit high.

Sprung Vols 1, 2 and 3 are all very worthwhile buys - I have all 3. They're on Amazon.com at US$55 ea + shipping. You're unlikely to get them cheaper than that. R500 ea sounds very reasonable, assuming they're in good condition.
