Bob's Reef 2

thats a beaut show piece bob:) in that tank he should stay calm, let hope he does as a fish that size could cause carnage if he wants to.

Thats a perfect tank for a fish like that:)

Amazing fish Rob, what am I saying, amazing tank, say it every time! You should sell your secrets.

Two things.I am taking your blonde Naso tangSecondWe need an update!!!!

Just read through the whole thread. A real showcase of reefing! Hope to one day achieve something half as impressive. Gives me confidence that my tank was built by the same team that set up this monster!

Don't think this tank exists anymore..... :whistling:

All right sorry Guys.

Some proof that it still exists.

These pics are taken at midday. I got given some Radions which made a huge difference to the total light in the tank
especially over the last part of winter when natural light into the tank is at its lowest. Colours improved dramatically.
They look unbelievable when the natural light fades a little and at night.

OK, I admit. I'm jealous.

Looking stunning as always Rob!
Are you still running the external sump system? Or have you changed anything?

Thanks.

Yup there is just this big old 600l tank outside with live rock in it that works as the sump.

Visiting and bringing clippers. :D

You've been saying that for a while.:peroni:
Thanks for all the positive feedback guys.:)

i realy enjoyed seeing this tank again bob, and the evening of reef chat and wine drinking:) was spontaneous but most enjoyable. there are few reefs that can give one the feeling on 'infinity' due to their simple size of water vollume although i thinkif you killed the lights in your office (or took pics at night) one wouldnt see through the tank to the back room behind and you'd have even better photo's:)

id love a decent pic of that orange/red/yellow monti you have bottom front left under moonlights if you ever get a chance. its a stand out coral amoungst a tank of stunning corals:)
