So what do you do with 500l seawater a few corals and fish and no tank. well my father went to out LFS and bought a custom 4ft tank at about 8:00am. Came back and we transfered everything over.

I cannot believe that we actually did this whole operation in about two hours. fish is safe, was a bit worried about the yellow tang because he was brown from stress. he looks a lot better now. hope they all make it through this hell ride! will post some pics of our new rescue setup.

sry dude i feel for u! i had 3 of those AquaH2O tanks and all 3 cracked exactly like that on the corner.

I feel those tanks should b banned!

Those bent corners are the problem
    1) It;s not 12mm in the bend, more like 6-8 mm
    2) Those bends can't move a micron like silicon corners on other tanks
    3) Those sinthetic stands move over time and the stress on the corners becomes begger and bigger till D-day

    I agree.

Goby, well done on rescuing everything, don't worry about fish colours, a lot of them change colour when they stress, they should be fine as long as they have got heat and water movement.

As you can now tell, this is a very common fault with aquah2o tanks, been like this for a few years now. I don't know if you will be eligible for a refund or not but find out from them.

Damn! Sorry to hear Goby! Been there. It's not fun. Lucky he was there to see it or he would have come home to an empty dead tank. Those tanks are a pain.

But on the upside, now your dad can build a new tank. It will take time to get it all back to it's former glory, but it's worth it.

no brand, just the normal custom tanks that your LFS sells. not to confident about the custom one either, but that was the only solution. It has a 10mm base but only 6mm sides. Its got heavy top and center bracing though. We haven't filled it up to the top. water level is about 400mm. that should hold.
