    Hello Brad.
Under normal working conditions the LED should be blue, my fan is running all the time.
On the radion manual it says that when the Led blinks red/blue it has a hardware issue.- contact Ecotech Marine Customer support.

fans will not last forever in a moist area, never mind salty moist areas. Part the reason why LED manufacturers do not advise to keep the units inside an enclosed canopy in the first place. Not only the moisture that enters the fan motor, but also the moisture that can damage all the welding spots inside them. Plus why a relative high mounting option is used compared to T5. Electronics and water never work out in the long run.

For the price of these units, the fans shouldn't give up..
That goes for all the ridiculously prices LED units...
