Blue Phosphor Polyps

    Has anybody dealt with this coral before or have any advise regarding it

    What is that? I have never heard of something like that. Only heard of nuclear polyps...
    Do you perhaps have a picture?

    it looks like a purplish small xenia

    I have a colony of them. They are very easy to keep & very hardy!
    I placed mine lower in my tank & they grow very fast. That have +- doubled in count in 6 months...

    I also use mine as an indicator for water quality. Whenever they don't fully open, i know its time for a large water change. Not sure what it is that they are sensitive to, but it has worked so far for me.
    Are you looking to buy a colony?

    No, they are all on one LR. I have tried fragging them but their small size makes it impossible.

    I have tried place small pieces of rock in their growth path to try and get frags still waiting to see if I will have any success fragging them this way.

    Just do a google search for blue glove polyps. Plenty of pics available

    Its quite small these polyps and not the wavy type

    Common names suck. I think it's probably referring to Cespitularia. Same care as Xenia.

    Sounds like Daisy Polyps - Knopia octocontacanalis - I've got tons...
