Blue LEDs

    Hi there..
    Im abit new to the marine aquarium side and i got a tl450 to start with..
    I noticed that it has blue LEDs.Wot are they for and when do i use them..Sorry if its a stupid question but im very curious..

    Hi and welcome. Those are the moon lights, you use them at night gives the tank a nice soft blue glow for night time viewing.

    Oh ok thanx for the reply...So its purely for viewing purposes and does not have any advantages to the tank ect...

    as far as i know its a bit more natural to the inhabitants of the tank, at least then everything doesnt go pitch black, the sea doesnt
