Hoplolatilus spp. are tilefish, not gobies. They're peaceful but very nervous. Keep with very peaceful tankmates and make sure the one you get is feeding at the shop. You also need a sand bed at least 5cm deep (10-15cm would be better) and you absolutely need a cover because tilefish WILL jump.

They are also very nervous, and do not like being harrassed. I have a nice sandbed in my display tank, now i just need eggcrate to cover, because my bicolor angel is harrasing the fish. Who wants a bicolor angel, eating well, not nipping corals?

Just a update on the tilefish,i moved it to my destined pipefish tank, with a deep sand bed,and it dove straight into tue sand. When i fed my fish,it went straight for the white shrimp, and ate like a pig. The fish is now very relaxed, and eating well, and it being peacefull,it will not bother future pipefish.

Nice one dude. These aren't very common imports. What did you pay for it?

Busy adding a DSB to my bigger tank's display now so that I can add seagrass. Probably gonna include some tilefish in the mix.
