Blue damsel changing colour

Dont know whats going on my female blue damsel swins into a crevis and coms out with light and dark patches and before i can take a pic she is back to normal. Any idee if damsels do this ? Ruled put stress shes the biggie in the tank 4cm.

Do you have a pair? Might be that they are spawning, had Pomacentrus pavo spawn in my tank and they also went weird colours during that time. They deposit eggs on a rock/glass like clownfish.

Got 2 female and other might de a male slightly smaller and know yello on the dorsels

Damsels do change sex. But as far as I know damsels are the opposite of clowns. They are born female and the largest turn into a male.
