Blue clam.

    Hi guys and girls. I received a blue clam
    what do you feed it,and what is the right procedure.

    most clams are photosynthetic and filter feeders

    Most likely a tridacna maxima/crocrea.
    They are filter feeders & need lighting on the higher end. (Lots of light!)
    You can try reef pearls or some of the "plancton in a bottle" food supplements, but at the end of the day, it will still be the lighting that keeps it healthy & happy!
    Ps, never put any food directly in their opening as it will block them & they slowly starve.

    Dont feed the clam. Just make sure it has enough light and good water conditions. It will draw what it needs out of the water
