Bleaching

    Why does corals bleach? What is wrong with the lights if they do bleach?

    No i have lots of corals and my lights aint brand new. Had it A few months now..But its only the one coral that looks like it want to bleach but i dont know whether it is bleaching or not.. and i cant think that its getting to much light. My lights are on for 7-8hours a day. And my other corals are happy!.. .... sooooo i dont know..

    Could be food, as much as we think corals need light they need food be it nitrates or prepared

    wats your nitrates and phosphate levels..could be what Dallas said..too low.
