I have acquired another small colony (not sure if this is the correct word?) of Balstomussa Wellsi.

The ideal spot for it is on a vertical section of LR a few cm below another colony that is already in the tank.

As they are they same specie (just different colour) I am assuming that they will not attack each-other or should I keep them apart?

What will happen if the grow "into" each-other?

They'll be fine in close proximity to each other, they don't have sweeper tentacles like other LPS corals have, however, do give them enough space to grow.
