    Howsit Guys,

My clowns are transforming into a Dalmatians... ;)

I've read many conflicting stories about this being Black Ich or sting marks from hosting on other corals. Can anyone confirm exactly what it is.

I'm not too stressed yet, as they are eating very well and swimming like every other fish.

Water parameters are perfect and stable.

Im leaning more towards stinging marks from a coral its trying to host in

Agree with Toolboy, hyper melanization from being stung by corals

I have a few SPS, LPS which they dont go near. Other than that there is Pincushion,Xenia and a few zoa colonies which could be the culprits.

Have been feeding foods with Garlic incase there are any diseases they could of contracted. Will see how it goes.

What you might not notice is when at night they go rest they might lean against a certain coral and get stung. Try and figure out where their "sleeping place" is and see if perhaps you could move some corals around to give them a little more space... this is my quess. So although you might not see them it can happen when you are asleep too...but i wont be too worried either..perhaps a FTS will indicate which corals are near them after lights out
