    Hi all,

Just thought I would introduce myself. I am new to the forums but not new to marine...I used to have a tank 7yrs back when I lived in the UK. it was a 200L reef.

So the bug has bitten me again and the minister of home affairs gave the go ahead

I have purchased my dream tank: the RedSea Max S650 and am taking delivery of the hardware, aragonite and live rock on Monday 30th Dec 2013.

I would appreciate any help (when required) donations of corals and livestock as the cost of the hardware has left me penniless

Hope to get to know all of you and maybe even meet some of you.

    The adventure begins!

    Thanks!
I went for the classic black cabinet as this affords the tank and its inhabitants all the focus and attention.

Thanks all for the warm welcome :)

Does anyone run a Miracle Mud system in their sump? If so, do you use Caulerpa algae in there? Where did you get it from?

    Hi Haai!

Which one do you have? Did you replace the bundled skimmer or kept everything you got?
I may pick your brain as i get accustomed to the RedSea way...

    Where are you based?

    Thanks!

It is the best filtration system since sliced Nori!

I chatted to Leng Sy (Miracle Mud creator) a few hours ago and will be ordering 20lbs for my sump.

But if you know of anyone in SA with Caulerpa...put me in touch please.
