can you post a pic? are the spots all over or limited to the orange? i.e., are there any spots in the white bands? have behaviour/eating habits changed?

sometimes clown develop spots from hosting in certain corals, eg zoas. this is generally just a pigmentation issue and nothing to worry about. mine get from time to time and are as happy as can be.

    hope this helps

    Hi Danimal.
I dont have a pic at the moment but yes they seem to be only on the orange parts. Their behavior has'nt changed either. I'll try my best to get a pic uploaded later coz they never stay still.

should go away after time. definitely don't panic!! besides, if behaviour and eating habits are still the same then they're ok.

I believe black spot disease is not deadly and if the fish is otherwise healthy and eating then it should be fine.

Yeah - ur clowns will be fine - mine used to host in a gonoporia - star polyps and sinularia so it was probably a pigmentation issue from those corals.

Cool Stuff. Thanks a million guys:thumbup:
I hav'nt noticed them near any particular coral but they are all over the tank.
I do have some local zoas, Brown frogspawn, Luminous Frogspawn & Pincusion Toadstool.
