    This is a easy D.I.Y for all that wants to run bio cubes in a reactor.
    A joint design by @Francois, @ Goby and Express Reef:p

    well done awsome modicication and innovation..

    my main concern about a closed reactor is the starvation of air in the event of a power failure....

    unless the air pump were one of those that automatically switched on when the power went off? ;)

    very clever... for thoose without back up power perhaps a few small 5mm holes at the foot of the reactor may assist with oxygenation in the even of a power outage?....

    Dont know, I use a 3400 l/h pump to feed 3 reactors each got a valve that I can set...

    Dude, that looks schweet, I want 2! but are you not restricting the cubes to the amount of water on the inlet pump as opposed to general flow in the sump?:p

    Nope, not what I know off, infact last longer than the blue/ normal airstones
