Hi everyone. My tank is still cycling and I have done so much research on livestock and hardware for my tank. Now I want to go to the LFS and have a look at the stuff in person. Which store would you say has the largest variety of livestock. I drove all the way to one in Fourways on the public holiday and they had more variety in the display tank than in the shop. Please help.

Try Lifetstyle Pet's out, they usually have a great selection of fish and corals.

while your tank maybe finished cycling or near it, dont add more than 1-2 fish every 2 weeks
thats my suggestion, too much too soon will give you a nutrient spike, and all the nasties will start, algae, diatoms etc

what size tank is it? what filtration do you have?

OK thanks. Yeah I read that some where. It's 120L. I just have the standard filtration in the boyu tl550. I took out the ceramic rings and Bio balls and put in some floss in the first chamber. I have heard about chemical filtration. What would you recommend and when must I out it in? Also can I add fish and the clean up crew at the same time.

in my boyu i ran 500ml seachem matrix, 100ml purigen and 100ml seachem seagel, perfect combination
change the seagel every 30-40 days, purigen lasts months, and when all orange you can replace or recharge and matrix is for biological filtration, keep in a onion bag and shake every few days to keep it clean, thats all you need and very affordable

OK great thanks so much for the help because that stuff can be very confusing. How would I put it in the chamber and can it all go together?
