My worry is that the MP40's tend to concentrate the flow too much with the cover on and that the MP60's may just do the same. I wonder if they have worked around spreading the flow so there isnt this 20000LPH blast in one area?

That would be my concern- that would stress out a lot of corals- even the flow lovers

    $695 = R5,017.01
    On todays exhange rate.

Put that pump on any thing shorter that 1.2 and watch the waves breaking over the far end. You can have your own Cape of Storms tank.... :)

Import it yourself and have minimal backup service.

    Having backup is GOOOOOOOD
Both my CLS pumps started making noise. Reeflo Super Dart pumps. For some reason I got both that where the duds in the batch... Excellent pumps for closed loops, good flow for low wattage. Problem is that the Darts are not available anymore, either upgrade or downgrade...

Anyway, got both replaced, free, no problems with 2 Vortech MP40ES pumps.

Still have to figure out what I will do with the CLS on my tank....

Wow 20K per hour at 60W is just an awsome thought. My 16K Seio pulls that wattage 24/7 ........Eina
