It starts innocently enough. You’ve had a fish-only marine tank up and running for quite some time and would like to try your hand at reefkeeping—so one aquarium becomes two. Maybe then you realize that you need to rehome a fish that has outgrown its aquarium or is bullying its tankmates. You can’t bear to ... [Read More]

    I think he is right.

Technically, my main system got 6 glass boxes. Display, main sump, Remote DSB, shallow Frag tank, another frag tank and another remote DSB. Plus there is a cryptic zone in plastic tub connected. All running from 1 return pump. Then I got 2 fully standalone quarantine systems. 2 glass boxes each, display and sump.

lol! I may be crazy but your setup is advanced crazy!

I am also glad that he adds a word after that one as well and not just stop at "Mad"

I have to admit that having multiple tanks do have their benefits. If I notice something deteriorating/being bullied/etc in one, I love the fact that I can add them to the next tank to see if it was a parameter issue/bullying/lighting etc. :)

I have this syndrome, so far 11 tanks. lol. The tanks are fun the fish are a pain, I've thought of putting a large LCD screen inside the front glass and having a "live video" of a great tank. (no water of course)

Ok So a couple of photos. I have 3 more tanks, one is a smaller display +/- 500liters, but until I clean the glass no photos the other two are nano tanks used for quarantine. I will take some better pictures at a later stage. Does this qualify as MSAS?????
