Best skimmer for R2500 - R3000?

Thoughts?

Can anyone suggest the best skimmer for that price range in GP? I have a total water volume of aprox 350liters after the displacement from the te LR, Sand and other goodies.

So far the Bubble Magnus Curve 5 looks good at R2200 form Jungle aquatics. Anyone have experience with this skimmer?

Why do you say bigger? Its already almost double the size of the tank. Lets say 75%.

I should add that I am also running 1000ml Orca Bio-cubes Titanum as well

Bigger is always better. Some guys run 2000l skimmers on 500l tanks. The bigger the skimmer the more bioload your tank can handle.

Go for the biggest you can afford. It should at least be double your total tank volume.

I'd deffinatley advise bigger if you going carbon sorce dosing.

Curve range of skimmers are very good but the curve 5 is an exceptional skimmer for its size

I have the curve 5 but i had to lift it about 75mm . Very happy with the curve 5 . But if you have the money I'd go bigger , the curve 7 is within your budget .
