    Hi guys...

I am in the market for a new gaming pc, looking for suggestions on where to buy and suggestions on what hardware to run on it, budget +/- R5k for the motherboard, processor, RAM, hardrive and graphics card.

Build it yourself - do some reviewing and then decide!
How long do u want to keep it? At R5k u won't get much graphics card is most important the rest does not do much when playing games.
Also what type of games do u play?

Now this I can do with my eyes closed!!! Just wish I could do the same on my 7D

I used to buy all my stuff from Prophecy, never had an issue, plus they have forums where you can query your orders, ask for advice etc. Prophecy.co.za

Try Buy Laptop Computers Johannesburg South Africa | PC International.

    For 5K I would recommend

Intel Extreme Series, Skyberg motherboard - R1200
    Core 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Ghz (1333FSB 4MB) - R1550
    2X 2GB DDR2 1333mhz - R1022
    1TB drive - R930
    Geforce GTS20 1GB graphics card - R690

Total - R5400. You should be able to run pretty much anything on there.

    Motherboard -Asus P5KPL-AM-SE
    Core2Quad Q8400
    2x 2gig DDR2 800
    250gig SATA
    DVD writer - LG

I would shop around & build it yourself

Speak to vernon I have 2 8800 graphics cards with him want R500 each as well

I have tons of PC stuff. the ram is now old & slow not sure if it's worth it - try get an I5 if you can

    No Stress Furbz

The SATA 500GB drive is already sold - I have a 500GB IDE which I bought for my playtime which is also new & a 250GB SATA Drive which is a little older - R100 for the 250Gig SATA

My Graphics cards are at computers only with vernon which I can collect at any time

    Let me know
