Hey guys I'm planning a nano tank soon.
Need some help with the filtration, i want to keep it as simple as possible yet effectiv.
Was thinking of a skimmer, bio cubes and live rock.
Tank is 60 x 60 water level at35 cm. Planning on keeping LPS and Sof coral.

    Thanks

    I
agree with @2balive , I havent used biocubes myself but I have been using purigen as well as phosguard for a few years and I believe in that mix.

    Hi @devesh.r

i have been having amazing success in my Nano by using an overrated Skimmer, Bio cubes and a Canister Filter (i use a little Boyu 200L/h) in the canister i have Purigen and Filter pads (Odysse) i replace them every 2 weeks(filter Pads) my maintenance shedule is Cleaning the glass every week and Daily Top ups i do a monthly 15% Water Change which i dont have to do but i do for peace of mind check out my thread (Dane G's Mini Reef) ,for pic and Vid of my Tank, i keep LPS, Softies and one bit of SPS

    Regards
    Dane

To my sump, i have added batting, purigen, phosban and carbon. I have also added some seachem matrix stones. All this together with my skimmer works fantastically

Yes you can use the two togarther however I would first start with bio-cubes once you are able to stock, add some LS and add the purigen about two weeks later, just so there is something for the purigen to bind to, I did that then a month later added a bag of carbon
