Benji's RSM 250 max

    Hi Everyone
    My RSM 250 MAX has been running for nearly a year now,such an awesome tank!!!
    Lights:6T5's and about 8LED's.
    built in protein skimmer + sump.
    One Red sea pump 1700l per hour and the other one 2500lph.
    Filtration - Purigen & Phosguard
    Mods – computer fans to replace the RSM cooling fans & grill removed

    Fish:
    yellow tang
    cleaner wrasse
    a pair of clowns
    Still want to get a flame angel and catch a couple of goldies this season.

    Corals:
    Sinularia
    Golden teardrop clam
    a few zoas species
    green hammer coral
    Still wanting to frag some leathers, different zoas & Mushrooms
    Had a white bubble tip anemone but it was bleached(did not no there were no such things as white bubbletip anemones at the time:blush:and found out too late
    Unfortunately it didnt make it though:(

    At last you opened the Thread for you'r RSM 250 MAX..:)..been waiting since August for the PIC'S...:p..Sorry to hear about the Nennie...it's never easy when something like that happens, but hopefully that can now be avoided with proper research on future Livestock...you've definately come to the right place...

    Just a word of caustion, its a hit and miss with angels and coral nipping. But almost all flame angels do tend to eat/destroy clams!!

    And where are the pics???

    What are your water parameters??

    Your Pho4 could be really high.

    Dont have a phosphates testing kit but have phosguard in.

    Does your Mods sentence mean you upgraded the cooling system? did the tank overheat?
