    Hello All

Time constraints due to a new job forced me to break down my tank about 5 years ago.
    My last attempt http://www.marineaquariumsa.com/threads/my-new-coral-box.18350/

I am back and luckily I kept all my kit, because I knew this day would come. It is the same custom made 900mm x 600mm x 600mm and the same equipment.

Obviously it will be filled to the brim with Rics, rics and more rics.
I had some awesome rics the last time around, hope to find some again.
Hoping to get some St Thomas mushrooms, can we get them in SA now?

So now the long wait while curing and cycling happens.

Good luck filling up on rics. They have become extremely expensive over the last few years. You are looking in the region of R450 per leaf and some places are that per mouth.

Sounds fair enough, average rics was going for about that price 5 years ago, if you get something that not everyone has and treat them right that R450 investment can easily be made back by fragging and selling.
I paid a lot more than that for some of the rics I had in my collection.
The "sexy ric" in my avatar was hellishly expensive 5 years ago, I bought it loose not attached to LR about the size of a R2 coin.

    Welcome back
Unfortunately ric market isn't near where it used to be. Few shops have them and IF they do they the size of ten cent pieces, unattached, and half end up disappearing.
But if you look around you can pick up a frag or two from other reefers

    Thanks 459b.
Luckily I am in no hurry this time, paid my school fees with my previous setups. If it takes me a couple years to stock it It will be fine.
What about St thomas mushrooms are they available now? I know they were just starting to come in at the time I stopped.
Or mini carpet nennies? Not such big fan of nennies but from what I have read these guys might just be the ticket.
